Who we are
Honoring Alabama’s Marines–past and present
The Alabama Marines Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to honoring the legacy of Alabama-connected Marines and supporting the welfare of Marines and their families. Founded in 2012, the Foundation brings together a membership of Marines, veterans of all branches, and civilians who share a commitment to upholding the values of the United States Marine Corps. We fund and support programs that reflect this mission—providing grants, charitable contributions, and aid to veterans’ organizations, educational institutions, and public entities that serve Marine families across the state.
Our purpose
Support rooted in service
For generations, Alabama citizens have served with distinction in the U.S. Marine Corps—from the earliest days of statehood to every conflict the Corps has faced. Their sacrifices have helped shape and defend the freedoms we enjoy today. Yet, many of their stories remain untold. The Alabama Marines Foundation is committed to recognizing that service, documenting those legacies, and extending a helping hand to Marines and their families in times of need.

Leadership you can trust
Guided by Marine Corps Veterans
The Foundation is led by a Board of Directors composed primarily of Marine Corps veterans, ensuring our mission and values are upheld by those who’ve lived the experience. Every program and initiative is guided by their commitment to honor, service, and brotherhood.
